The Assetz Capital platform is no longer open to investment from individual investors. No new investments into peer-to-peer loans are possible and, as a result, no new funds should be deposited by new or existing Retail lenders; such funds would not be interest-bearing and would have to be withdrawn back to your bank account in due course.
We have placed the existing loan book relating to the Retail platform into run-off and this will, over time, deliver the return of capital to investors. Full information regarding the decision to conduct a solvent run-off of the Retail book can be found here. Please note that this linked page will be updated with further information over the course of the run-off so lenders may wish to refer to it periodically.
Existing Retail lenders can still log in, view information regarding their account and loan holdings and operate their account in accordance with the information regarding the run-off provided on the link above.
We have notified the Financial Conduct Authority of our intentions before taking this action. Please note that Assetz Capital will continue to be authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority during the run-off.
Our lender support team remains available via email@example.com and Live Chat.
This does not affect our lending to borrowers and that continues as normal, funded by our institutional partners.

We know that one size doesn't fit all, so we've created a range of accounts for different kinds of people. Take a look and decide which one suits you.
Investing is a balance of risk versus reward. It’s important to remember that investment in peer-to-peer loans isn’t covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme and it’s not a bank account. Remember, your capital is at risk.
* Target interest rates are quoted gross (before any tax and possible losses) and are capped at the quoted rate although actual returns could be lower.
Almost everything we do in life involves a balance of risk versus reward, and investing is no different. Whenever you lend money to somebody else, you get the potential to earn interest as your reward, but there's a chance you might not get your money back, leading to a reliance on the security backing the loan. Even with loan security, there is no guarantee that there will never be a loss.
We'll help you understand some of the main risks involved and explain what we do to help you minimise them.Find out more
Earn more - invest tax-free*
The Government lets you invest up to £20,000 each year tax-free in an ISA*. You can 'wrap' any Assetz Capital account in an IFISA, so that you don't pay tax on the interest you earn, and you can transfer in any other ISAs you have and invest those too.
* The tax treatment of your investments can depend on your personal circumstances and this could change in the future.Find out more
