Bank of England raises 2017 growth outlook

The BoE has predicted that the economy will grow by 2% in the year ahead. Back in August 2016 growth of 0.8% was forecast.
There have been few signs of an economic slowdown so far and the Bank said this weeks improved forecast was largely the result of higher spending and investment contained in the Chancellor's Autumn Statement.
